When your rest is done for any given set, vibrate the phone or watch for a second

Could then tap on the watch screen or on a wearable with no screen to start set

I wish you could add an audible notification for the rest timer, similar to the one on the Apple Watch, but for the iPhone. Because maybe I am not using the Apple Watch as my fitness-tracking device.

I’m currently using Lyfta for strength training and decided to give your app go. It looks great but one feature on Lyfta which would be great to see here is when the rest timer between sets finishes it’s countdown there’s an audio notification. It would also be great to not have to press the play button when I’m about to start my set, on Lyfta the exercise starts straight after the audio ding to let you know to get back on it. If you can add that in, I’m all in on your app.

In Strength Builder workouts, a simple feature in which, when the rest time ends, it notifies you through a notification and vibrates.

I’d like to suggest an improvement to the rest timer notifications.

Currently, the rest timer relies primarily on Apple Watch haptics, which works in some situations. However, many people listen to music through their phone while working out, making the watch vibration easy to miss.

It would be very helpful to have optional phone audio notifications during rest periods. An even better implementation would be voice prompts similar to the Motra app—for example:

* “30 seconds remaining”

* “15 seconds remaining”

* A final sound or voice prompt indicating it’s time to start the next set.

Personally, I walk between sets to maximize my activity during workouts. Because I’m moving, a subtle vibration on my watch is often not noticeable, causing me to miss the end of my rest period. Phone audio cues would make the timer much more reliable and improve the overall workout experience.

Making this an optional setting would allow users to choose between watch haptics, phone audio, voice prompts, or a combination of all three.

Often I am using my phone between sets, when the rest timer goes off on my watch I sometimes don’t notice it. By enabling a push notification on the iPhone (similar to Hevy) it becomes easier to get off my phone and do my set.

I use a Fitbit air and it doesn’t send me a tap to tell me when my rest is over like an Apple Watch would, I would love it if the app would send a push notification for when your rest time is over so I don’t have to stalk the app between sets. Also if the timer could display in the iphones’s selfie camera island that would be great.

On Bevel, you can keep track of your exercises, sets, etc. You can also set a break between sets. Before Bevel, I used the Strong app to track this. When the break between two sets ended, I heard a sound via my AirPods to inform me. A 'Boxing Bell Sound Effect'. I really liked this, and it's something I miss right now. In addition, the request to add this. This also includes the request to turn this sound on or off for those genes that do not want it.
