More than 1 month of Garmin Connect Data

I have disabled the “Connect” Apple Health data source to avoid duplicate entries while still having Connect write to Apple Health. However, this limits my ability to import more than a year of historical data. Any way to enable Garmin Connect Historical data for more than just a month?

Use Garmin data from the last 3 years

Bevel could replace Whoop for me. What I'm still missing: Garmin data older than 1 month. I don't use an Apple Watch, all data comes from Garmin - right now it looks like I haven't done any sport for years ;-). Seriously though: if the API doesn't allow it, please upload a file. That would close the gap with Whoop for me.

Hi Jose Hernandez, unfortunately the 1 month historical data is a limitation from Garmin's end.
Instead of disabling Connect as a Data Source, you could do the following:
- Stop Garmin Connect from writing to Apple Health.
- Turn off the historical data loading.
This way, you'll have all data moving forward coming directly from Garmin to Bevel.

Amanda There are open source ways which allow users to bypass the API limits, i.e, https://github.com/arpanghosh8453/garmin-grafana?tab=readme-ov-file#historical-data-fetching-bulk-update and https://github.com/cyberjunky/python-garminconnect.
Surely the devs can implement a this sort of workaround in order to let users bulk import historical garmin data to the app.
