“Illness radar” & pause mode

Whoop is famous for identifying illnesses (such as COVID) early on by respiratory rate. Bevel has the data too.
Extension: A dedicated “sick mode.” If your temperature and respiration rate differ at night, the app should ask you in the morning, “Are you feeling sick?”
The result: If you say “yes,” all training goals are paused, the streaks (training days in a row) are frozen and the focus changes completely to “hydration & sleep.” Nothing is more demotivating than a fitness app that makes you feel guilty when you have the flu.

YES!!! I just discovered today that Bevel ai can (hopefully) help me identify by my biometrics that a migraine is coming. This would be AMAZING!
For example, I woke up with a weather related migraine today. I received an alert from another app in the middle of the night that the barometric pressure was expected to increase, hence a probable migraine ahead. When I logged in Bevel I had a migraine it told me what markers to track daily as potential indicators for an upcoming migraine.
But if Bevel would recognize these markers and give me an alert of some sort that would be awesome!

I had a massive detraining nosedive after I got sick. Obviously it’s accurate but i agree that some things should pause. Also the option to predict sickness would be great because it appears so obviously in the biodata

Or the signal of a spike in temperature (overnight applewatch measurement)
Studies show asthma attacks and flu can be predicted by 24 hours based on temperature.

Unfortunately I can't even find the pause/sick mode...

Janine Unfug You have to tap on the start page where the running icon is green and where active and then you have 4 options to select either Active, Injured, Sick or Pause.

I would love this, also if it would recognize underlying illness patterns for the most common diseases like covid and later symptoms e g postcovid and so on

Hi Benjamin Strelow, we do have a sickness detection algorithm in place. If we notice certain metrics are out of range, we will pull up a prompt for you to change your Activity Status to Sick, which then pauses your target strain and goals.
