More accurate nutrition information
L
Luke Mainwaring
Most food I log is missing the detailed micro nutrient information. It would be great if when I scan a barcode it could automatically know the detailed micronutrients and caffeine amount.

A more comprehensive source of food
C
Christelle
There are not a lot of foods in the database. Sometimes I have to enter the food in my other Lifesum or Yazio application because the foods are not recognized in Bével despite the bar code. It's a shame when the openfoodfact database and others are free to consult and very complete.

Food databasr or api to mfp
C
Cris
Right now there is no Dutch food database or api to myfitnesspal to synch food data. This is an important one. I don't want to pay for both apps but MFP has it. For me a dealbreaker

Need Support for Taiwan Food Barcode Database
James Xu
The app is quite good overall — the interface is clean and the features are useful. However, it struggles to recognize barcodes from food products sold in Taiwan, which significantly affects the convenience of use. I hope the database can be expanded in the future to include barcodes from popular local brands and products in Taiwan. This would make the app much more user-friendly for people here and could also boost user ratings and adoption. It would also be great if users could contribute missing barcode data themselves.

Need Chinese food database.
Stan Shek
I especially hope to see more Chinese cuisine added to the food database, This would make the app more useful for users in China or those who follow a Chinese diet. Thank you!

Best food database in Italian
L
Laio Conconi
I can ask you for information about the developments of the food database in Italian, I currently use the Yazio app, which I have been using for years, although I tried Bevel for weeks I had to return to using Yazio because the Bevel database is very poor in Italian data. Little flexibility to modify foods and/or anything else.

Region Based Food
S
Simon Gilks
I used my fitness pal for years but swapped to NutraCheck for a single reason. The ability to select the region I was based in for my food diary. So by selecting Europe the measurements by default were Europe frost as were shops, restaurants etc. it made logging food much easier.
Currently in Bevel most brands that come up I have never heard of, so I assume they are US based.
It just makes it more difficult and clunky to use nutrition on Bevel.

Please include Spain’s food database 🙏
E
Elena López Pilatti
Hiya! I love the app and the latest update is great, thank you! 😊
I’d love it even more if you included the option to select which country you are in and based on that, to show that country’s food database. I’m in Spain (EU) and I can’t log food because I can’t find any of the supermarket’s products on the db 😔
There is an app: Yazio, that gives you the option to choose from different countries databases. There’s another app: Fitia, that also shows Spanish products…
Thank you 🙏
