Problem Statement
Currently, metrics live in separate trend cards, making it difficult to spot relationships between related biomarkers. When Apple Watch detects an issue - such as elevated breathing disturbances - users have no native way to plot those events against companion metrics (respiratory rate, blood oxygen/SpO_2) or see how specific habits and sleep conditions affect them.
Proposed Feature: Custom Chart Builder
Give users the ability to build custom, saved charts that combine multiple metrics on a shared timeline and overlay Journal/lifestyle tags.
- Metric Selection & Dual Y-Axes
Allow users to select 2–3 metrics to plot on a single graph.
Automatically handle mixed units using split or dual Y-axes (e.g., SpO_2 percentage on the left axis, Breaths/Min and Disturbance counts on the right axis).
Support Apple Health nocturnal respiratory data (Breathing Disturbances, Respiratory Rate, Oxygen Saturation).
- Journal & Contextual Tag Overlays
Option to display logged Journal tags as vertical markers or color-coded flags along the timeline.
Key use-case tags: Sleeping position (side vs. back), Humidifier used, Mouth tape, Elevated head, Alcohol, Late meal.
- Correlation / Impact Insights
Visual toggle to compare "Tagged Nights" vs. "Untagged Nights" to see whether an intervention consistently stabilizes the target metric.

Hi Leah,
I’ve used the built-in AI to generate charts with mixed success - I even asked it to save one, but it couldn't. I also set up weekly check-ins to spot trends, which is great, but prompt-generated insights aren't the same as a permanent dashboard.
What I really want is a native, saved chart built into the app that I can configure for the exact metrics I want to track and access instantly at any time.
Honestly, even a simple 'Pin to Dashboard' or 'Save Chart' button on AI-generated graphs would be a massive win. That way, we could use the AI to build the visualisation, but keep the result permanently accessible without having to re-prompt it every time.
Thanks!
Leah

Hi Andy Kennan Have you tried asking Bevel Intelligence to create these charts for you?
